A Brief History of My R.C.A.F. Life
  • Enlisted in RCAF at Windsor, May 1943.  
  • Basic Training in Toronto.  
  • Refresher course in Hamilton.  
  • Initial Training School (I.T.S.) in Toronto, then to Trenton and Windsor.
  • Finally to Elementary Flying School E.F.S. at Pendelton, Ontario and then to Mt. Pleasant, Prince Edward Island where I received my Air Gunner Wing and my commission as a Pilot Officer at the same time - March 1945.
  • Discharged in August, 1945.
