    General Rules and Regulations
    The following rules have been established to ensure that both participants and the general public have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience at this 2016 Muster event.

    NOTE : You must report to the battlefield director before entering the field and follow the his orders.

    1) Only historic weapons approved by the site Weapons Supervisor may be used during
    demonstrations
    2) Period Dress is to be worn between 8:00am – 5:00pm
    3) Encampment and Volunteers must remain in period attire during public hours
    4) Be prepared for your participation for Opening Ceremonies to march on Colours and Flag raising
    5) Be ready for your part of the event 15 minutes ahead of time
    6) No Vehicle traffic once public hours start except for specific times during event etc. roll pass, WWII re-enactment
    7) Non period shelters will be assigned to a different camp area
    8) Non period vehicles shall be assigned a special parking area
    9) No tear down of shelters before 5:00pm on Saturday or 4:00pm on Sunday
    10) No Alcohol during event time and then only at your campsite.
    11) All fire pits and encampment areas to be returned to original state.
    12) SOMM event is under strict noise by-law with City of Windsor, so please respect normal noise curfew of 11:00pm

Military Muster © 2012 - SOMM MANDATE This Not-For-Profit charitable organization shall be carried on without purpose of gain for its members, and any profits or gains to the organization shall be used in promoting its objectives to bring together those people interested in the diverse historical military vehicles and heritage of our many war conflicts and the men and women who protected our great land, and to retain, preserve and present historical data pertaining to the region. More specifically, the aims and objects shall be: 1. To undertake, promote and disseminate the study of any phase of historical military vehicles/artifacts, to arouse an interest in the past, and to encourage the preservation of historical information within Southern Ontario. 2. To advance education by improving the public’s understanding and awareness of the military history of Southern Ontario and beyond by publishing or printing material; preserving military vehicles where possible; create a yearly muster for the public to observe, touch and educate; by holding public meetings, lectures and exhibitions; and by undertaking a variety of information sharing, publicity and public education programs. 3. To do all such proper things as are necessary, incidental or conducive to attaining the aims and objects of the Organization.
