It said at the time they had been primarily set up to conduct administrative tasks to aid overseas Chinese, such as sorting out driving licences, but that they ‘also serve a far more sinister and wholly illegal purpose’. The crime issue isn’t going away for Fetterman Maria Kartashova, who lives with her host in Surrey, said the UK public was giving Ukrainians "more than help". But in recent weeks Russia has further targeted Ukraine's power and water infrastructure, prompting shortages across the country.
